How we help you immigrate from China to Canada

Permanent residence

If you have skilled work experience, a consultant can assess whether Express Entry fits your circumstances. Support can cover profile preparation, an application after an invitation or a separate review. Explain whether you are exploring eligibility or already have an invitation; those stages involve different work.

Spousal sponsorship

If you are joining a spouse or partner, a consultant can assess sponsorship eligibility before preparing the application. Your partner’s Canadian status and residence matter, alongside the relationship. Support is available for couples living apart and couples already together, within the agreed service scope.

Work permits

Have a Canadian job opportunity? A consultant can assess the relevant work-permit options and explain the application support available. Share the role and proposed start date before committing to preparation. The written agreement identifies the work the firm will handle.

Study permits

The Student Direct Stream has closed. If your plans relied on that process, discuss support under the regular study-permit route. Closure does not itself make you ineligible to apply. Share your proposed course, intended start date and current residence so the consultant can assess the relevant application support.

Refusals and changed circumstances

A refusal can disrupt your plans and leave the next application uncertain. Bring the decision letter to a consultation so the reasons can be considered before further preparation.

Frequently asked questions

Can Chinese people immigrate to Canada?

Chinese citizens can seek Canadian permanent residence through routes such as skilled-worker immigration or eligible family sponsorship. Your qualifications and family circumstances determine which route fits. Do not assume a program described for Hong Kong residents applies to mainland Chinese passport holders. The Hong Kong permanent-residence pathways closed to new applications on August 31, 2026. Assess currently available options before arranging your move.

Can I get Canadian PR with money?

Money alone does not secure Canadian permanent residence. A Chinese applicant must qualify for a specific immigration program, with any required settlement funds separate from government fees. Business routes impose additional conditions. Quebec’s Investor Program requires at least two years of management experience within the preceding five years, alongside financial and French requirements. Check the complete criteria before committing money to a proposed immigration investment.

Can Chinese people come to Canada visa free?

Ordinary mainland Chinese passport holders generally need a visitor visa to visit Canada, unless an exemption applies. Your existing status matters. Canadian permanent residents need a valid PR card or permanent resident travel document to return by commercial transport. A visitor visa is not a substitute. Check the entry requirements for your actual passport and status.

How much is a 2 year work permit in Canada?

The standard Canadian work-permit processing fee is CAD $155; an additional CAD $100 open-work-permit holder fee applies when required. These government charges do not purchase two years of authorized work. A Chinese applicant must qualify for the permit category, and the approved duration depends on the circumstances. Budget separately for any required biometrics, medical exam and professional services, and check the current fee list before paying.

Can I apply for a Canada study permit outside my home country?

Yes, a Chinese citizen living abroad can apply, with evidence of legal status in the country of application when required. Follow the local instructions for where you apply. IMM 1294 also asks about other countries where you lived for over six months during the previous five years. Prepare that history before starting, alongside your school and financial evidence.
