Work permits

A Canadian job opportunity needs an assessment of the role, employer requirements and your circumstances. Your consultant can explain which work permit application may fit and what support the employer must provide. The agreed service covers immigration work; a job is not promised.

Study permits

India was among the countries served by the former Student Direct Stream. That stream closed in November 2024. Study permit support now concerns the regular process and your individual circumstances. Ask about the proposed course, study plans and separate post-graduation work requirements before committing to a program.

A refusal or returned application can leave you unsure what to do next. Book a consultation to discuss what happened and whether further application support is appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

Is it easy for Indians to immigrate to Canada?

Immigrating from India depends on your qualifications and the Canadian program, rather than nationality alone. For the Federal Skilled Worker Program, qualifying work must include at least one continuous year of paid skilled experience within the previous ten years. Your duties must match the occupation you claim. Meeting minimum eligibility permits consideration; it does not guarantee an Express Entry invitation.

Is Canada still giving PR to Indians?

Indian citizens can still qualify for Canadian permanent residence through programs whose requirements they meet. Express Entry remains an option for eligible skilled workers, but submitting a profile is not a permanent residence application or a promise of approval. An invitation is required before applying through Express Entry, and the invited application must normally be submitted within 60 days.

How much does it cost to migrate to Canada from India?

There is no single migration price for applicants from India. Your budget depends on the program, accompanying family and required documents. Separate government application fees, biometrics where required, medical examinations, language testing and travel costs from any professional fee. Express Entry settlement funds are money you must have available, rather than a fee paid to IRCC. Check the current government fee list before paying.

Which is the fastest way to get PR in Canada?

The fastest permanent residence route for an applicant from India depends on eligibility and when an invitation or nomination becomes available. Express Entry can be relevant to skilled workers, but time spent preparing documents and waiting in the pool is separate from processing a submitted application. A profile expires after 12 months without an invitation, so a short advertised processing time is not a complete moving timetable.

How much bank balance is required for PR in Canada?

For an applicant from India, the required bank balance depends on the permanent residence program and family size. Some Express Entry applicants are exempt from settlement funds, including those invited under the Canadian Experience Class. When funds are required, IRCC asks for bank letters showing current balances, outstanding debts and average balances over six months. A recent balance screenshot alone does not supply those details.
