How we help you immigrate from Nigeria to Canada
Permanent residence
If you have skilled work experience, a consultant can assess whether Express Entry fits your circumstances. Support can cover profile preparation, an application after an invitation or a separate review. Explain whether you are exploring eligibility or already have an invitation; those appointments involve different work.
Spousal sponsorship
If you are joining a spouse or partner, a consultant can assess sponsorship eligibility before preparing the application. Your partner's Canadian status and residence matter, alongside the relationship. Support is available for couples living apart and couples already together, within the agreed service scope.

Work permits
Have a Canadian job opportunity? A consultant can assess the relevant work-permit options and explain the application support available. Share the role and proposed start date before committing to preparation. The written agreement identifies the work the firm will handle.
Study permits
Planning to study in Canada? Discuss the proposed course, intended start date and your immigration questions with a licensed consultant. Study-permit support covers the agreed application work; a consultation helps identify the questions to resolve before preparation.
Nigeria Student Express has ended. A new application follows the regular study-permit process. Discuss your current plans instead of relying on advice about the former fast track. The consultation can identify the application support you need.
Refusals and changed circumstances
A refusal can disrupt your plans and leave the next application uncertain. Bring the decision letter to a consultation so the reasons can be considered before further preparation.

Frequently asked questions
Is Canada still accepting Nigerians?
Nigerian citizens can apply through Canadian immigration programs when they meet the requirements. There is no automatic route based on nationality. For the Federal Skilled Worker Program, education completed in Nigeria normally needs an educational credential assessment for immigration purposes. Check that the assessment remains valid when you submit your Express Entry profile and permanent residence application.
How much will it cost to migrate from Nigeria to Canada?
The cost depends on your route and family size; a single naira estimate cannot cover every application. Separate government and professional fees from travel costs and any required settlement funds. For Express Entry, borrowed money and property equity do not qualify as settlement funds. Check IRCC’s current Canadian-dollar requirement before converting your available funds into naira.
Can Nigerians go to Canada without a visa?
Nigerian passport holders generally need a visa to visit Canada. Travel requirements also depend on other citizenship or immigration status you hold. A Nigerian citizen who is a lawful permanent resident of the United States follows different document rules. A Canadian work or study permit is not itself a travel visa, so check your entry documents before booking travel.
What is the easiest way for a Nigerian citizen to relocate to Canada?
There is no single easiest route for a Nigerian citizen. Compare your qualifications, family ties and intended destination. Express Entry, provincial nomination and family sponsorship have different requirements. Provincial nominees must intend to settle in the province that nominates them. Studying in Canada does not guarantee a post-graduation work permit or permanent residence.
How long does it take to get a study permit in Canada from Nigeria?
Use IRCC’s processing-time tool for study permits submitted from Nigeria; a general online range is not a promised decision date. Nigeria Student Express ended on November 8, 2024. New applicants use the regular study permit process. IRCC counts from receipt of a complete application, rather than the date you give biometrics. Check the current estimate and school deadlines before making plans.
