OINP Consultant Services

OINP Consultant Services help you prepare a nomination file with consistent employer and applicant records. Work directly with a licensed consultant at Mirzoyan Immigration Services to assess your route, evidence and filing responsibilities. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) uses Ontario Workforce Priority, which requires employer participation for most applicants. Support for the federal permanent residence (PR) stage depends on your written agreement.

✓ Employer and applicant evidence checked together

✓ Service scope and professional fees agreed before work begins

Who Is This Service For?

This service suits applicants who need help matching their circumstances to an Ontario pathway and preparing the records that support it. But the employer's role can feel confusing when two applications depend on the same invitation. So your qualifications and the employer's participation need separate attention before a job-offer application can proceed.

  • You have an Ontario job offer. Check whether the position, employer and your own evidence support the same pathway.

  • You are a self-employed physician. Assess the specific medical-registration and billing requirements before relying on the job-offer exception.

  • Your employer is willing to participate. Clarify the business records, portal actions and people responsible for the employer's submission.

  • You have received an invitation. Establish which documents and employer actions remain outstanding within the linked filing periods.

  • Your records do not agree. Address differences in duties, dates, wages or claimed EOI factors before they enter another submission.

Ontario opened the new stream's EOI portal on August 4, 2026. And if your file began under a former stream, bring its invitation and submission records to the assessment.

What OINP Application Support Includes

Your agreement identifies the included work, but employer cooperation remains necessary even when you retain a consultant. And a letter from human resources does not replace participation in Ontario's employer-led process.

Pathway and Eligibility Assessment

Your consultant reviews the position, work history, language evidence and any relevant licensing or study records. But Ontario eligibility and eligibility for a federal Express Entry programme require separate assessment. You receive advice about the route your evidence supports and the facts that still need to be established.

Employer Readiness and Job-Offer Evidence

Mirzoyan Immigration Services identifies the business and position records needed for the proposed application, including applicable wage and recruitment evidence. Employer participation and signing responsibilities are clarified before the candidate relies on the offer. And your written agreement identifies which employer-side preparation and coordination work the consultant has been retained to provide.

EOI Claims and Supporting Records

An Expression of Interest, or EOI, records your interest in applying and the factors used for ranking. Your consultant checks the evidence behind the proposed claims, including the relevant dates. But an invitation cannot repair a score based on claims that your employment or other records do not support.

Invitation-Stage Employer and Applicant Filings

An Ontario invitation starts a 14-calendar-day employer filing period and a 17-calendar-day applicant period. So both periods run from the same invitation, and the employer must submit before you can complete your application. Support includes coordinating the agreed preparation work around that dependency, under Ontario's application instructions.

Nomination Conditions and the Federal PR Stage

After nomination, the next filing route and ongoing conditions still need attention; nomination itself does not grant permanent residence. Where retained for the federal stage, your consultant prepares the agreed work for the applicable route. And separate Express Entry application services are described on their own service page.

Choose the Support You Need

Choose the scope that fits the stage you have reached and the work you want reviewed.

Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) must meet standards enforced by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. So you can verify their authorization and use the College's complaints process for concerns about professional conduct.

Full Application Support

For applicants who want help preparing and coordinating an OINP file, the agreement sets out the included provincial stages. And it identifies employer-related work, filing responsibilities and any federal application support. Check those boundaries before assuming one engagement covers every later application or request.

Application Review

If you have prepared a file, discuss a separate review agreement focused on the records and stage requiring attention. Confirm what will be reviewed, what feedback is included and who remains responsible for filing. But a consultation alone does not include a full application review of the records you have prepared.

The Mirzoyan Methodology

Six review stages organize the work on your file:

  • Risk Diagnosis: Identify eligibility concerns and the correct application route.

  • Evidence Mapping: Connect the required facts with the records that support them.

  • Document Verification: Check documents against the applicable instructions.

  • Consistency Audit: Compare travel dates, status periods, tax details and form histories.

  • Submission: Prepare the application for the permitted filing route.

  • IRCC Response Management: Handle follow-up included in the written agreement.

Meet in person, online or by phone. Based in Toronto, we serve clients across Canada and abroad in English, Russian and Armenian.

Document Issues We Check Before Submission

A document can be genuine and still fail to establish the fact claimed in the application. So the review connects each record to its purpose under the applicable Ontario employer requirements and applicant instructions.

Employer and Applicant Records Describe Different Work

Compare the National Occupational Classification, or NOC, duties with the offer, employment records and EOI. And the wage, hours, work location and dates across those records should describe the same actual position. If duties changed, the evidence needs to distinguish the periods rather than conceal the difference with a new title.

Revenue Records Use the Wrong Fiscal Period

Ontario's employer revenue test depends on the work location and applicable financial period. Mirzoyan Immigration Services checks which fiscal years the documents cover before treating a recent revenue figure as sufficient. But business size alone cannot establish that the revenue records meet the applicable threshold and cover the required period.

EOI Points Cannot Be Supported After Invitation

Each claimed factor needs its own supporting evidence; the offered wage does not establish a separate earnings-history claim. So the review compares the proposed entry with its supporting record under Ontario's EOI scoring rules.

Portal Ownership or Filing Order Is Wrong

You create and control your applicant login and sign your own consent form. The authorized signing officer signs the employer consent and submits the employer application. But a properly appointed representative uses a separate account and cannot replace either signature. Ontario's representative instructions explain these responsibilities.

Recruitment Evidence Creates a Conflict

Where recruitment evidence is required, check who performed that work before relying on it. Ontario does not accept recruitment undertaken by an immigration representative as reasonable domestic recruitment for this purpose. If the representative performed the required domestic recruitment, Ontario says the application will be refused. So immigration representation cannot replace the employer's own qualifying recruitment evidence where Ontario requires that domestic recruitment.

Eligibility Requirements at a Glance

Ontario Workforce Priority has separate job-offer routes and a specific exception for qualifying self-employed physicians. These points frame your assessment; the requirements still need to be checked against the route your circumstances support. The job's TEER category describes its Training, Education, Experience and Responsibilities classification.

Language evidence is measured using Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB), with the required level depending on the applicable pathway. For physicians, CPSO means the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario; OHIP means the Ontario Health Insurance Plan.

OINP Guides

Use the programme overview to understand the sequence, then the focused guides for the evidence relevant to your file.

  • OINP Complete Guide: how Ontario nomination connects to your federal application.

  • Ontario Workforce Priority eligibility and pathways: applicant requirements and route comparison.

  • OINP employer requirements: business, position and supporting-record requirements.

  • OINP EOI points and registration: scoring factors, registration and evidence for claimed points.

OINP Fees and Processing Times

Ontario Government Fees

Government charges are separate from the professional fee in your service agreement. Budget for Ontario and federal applications individually, alongside any additional charges for tests, translations and other third-party services.

Government fees for the provincial and federal stages
StageGovernment chargeWhat determines the amount
EOI registration$0No Ontario fee to register an expression of interest
OWP application: outside the GTA$1,500Job-offer or eligible physician practice location
OWP application: inside the GTA$2,000Toronto, Durham, Halton, Peel or York location
Federal permanent residence applicationCheck the current IRCC fee scheduleSeparate federal application fees; family composition and applicable charges affect the total

For physician applications, Ontario uses the practice location to determine the provincial fee. And before withdrawing an application, check how Ontario's refund rules apply to the stage that processing has reached.

Ontario and Federal Processing Times

Ontario assesses the nomination application; Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, or IRCC, decides the federal permanent residence application. Time spent waiting for an EOI invitation is separate from processing after submission. But a former stream's published estimate cannot establish the time required for your new OWP file.

Check your Ontario application status through your e-Filing account, following Ontario's application-process guide. Use IRCC's processing-times tool for the separate federal stage; retaining a representative cannot establish when either decision will arrive. And if your temporary status is approaching expiry, assess that deadline separately from the expected nomination or PR decision.

Clear Fees Before You Retain Us

Mirzoyan Immigration Services uses a transparent flat-fee model, with the included work and responsibilities identified in your written agreement. Check whether employer representation, a federal PR application and later responses fall within that scope.

But government fees and third-party expenses remain separate from professional fees agreed for your application. Consultation pricing is shown when booking, and application services require their own written agreement.

OINP Help Across the GTA

Mirzoyan Immigration Services is based in Toronto and serves clients across Canada and abroad. You can meet in person, online or by phone; online consultations can take place through Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Local service information is available for Toronto and Mississauga. But these pages describe service coverage; your OINP pathway still depends on the applicable provincial requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply for OINP myself?

Yes, hiring a representative is optional, and Ontario provides instructions for applicants using or choosing representation. But self-filing does not remove the employer's responsibilities in a job-offer pathway. Your employer still needs to complete the required portal work, not merely provide a letter. And you must support your EOI claims and meet the filing deadlines that apply to your application.

How much does a Canadian immigration consultant cost?

The cost depends on the agreed service and the work your file requires. Review Mirzoyan Immigration Services' fee information, then confirm the OINP scope in writing. Ask whether the quoted work includes employer representation, the provincial application and federal PR. But government charges and third-party expenses are separate; consultation pricing appears when you book.

How do I use a representative for OINP?

Create your own applicant account using your personal contact information, then follow Ontario's representative-appointment instructions. Check the representative's authorization before appointing them, and do not share your password or allow them to appoint themselves. Employer authorization and signing duties remain separate from your own consent and account responsibilities. Agree who will handle each permitted action before the employer and applicant filing periods begin.

Who is the most reliable immigration consultant in Canada?

There is no single official ranking that establishes the most reliable consultant for every application. Verify the consultant's current status through the College's public register. For OINP, ask how employer evidence, EOI claims and filing responsibilities will be handled. And request a written scope and clear fees; avoid anyone promising an invitation, nomination or approval.

Does OINP get rejected?

Yes, Ontario can refuse an application that does not satisfy the applicable programme requirements. A qualifying candidate can still face a problem if the employer or position does not qualify. But an incomplete return differs from an eligibility refusal, so read the reasons and instructions for your file carefully. Hiring a representative does not remove Ontario's decision-making role or its assessment of the applicable requirements.

Ready to Discuss Your OINP Application?

Bring any Ontario invitation alongside your employment records and job offer so the consultation can address the next filing decision.

Free 15-minute assessment: explain your situation and identify the service you need; a full application review is not included.

Paid consultation: choose a 25- or 50-minute appointment for advice about your circumstances, questions and next steps. Pricing is shown when booking; the document review possible during an appointment depends on its length and the records involved.

Application preparation, representation and full application reviews require a separate written service agreement.
