WHAT OUR Clients SAY About Us
Mirzoyan Immigration Services is a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consulting (RCIC) practice in Toronto, helping people across Canada and around the world navigate Canadian immigration from Express Entry and Spousal Sponsorship to Work Permits, Study Permits, PR applications, and document services.
Express Entry — FSW & CEC & FST
Canada's flagship points-based immigration system for skilled workers. We assess your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score across both the FSW and CEC streams, identify ways to strengthen your profile, and prepare a complete, IRCC-ready Invitation to Apply (ITA) package, from your initial eligibility assessment through to submission.
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Already working or studying in Canada? The CEC stream is designed for those with skilled Canadian work experience. We assess your eligibility and build a strong Express Entry profile tailored to your CEC pathway.
Canadian Citizenship Application
Becoming a Canadian citizen is an important step. We help eligible permanent residents prepare their Canadian citizenship application, review residency and physical presence issues, organize required documents, and reduce the risk of avoidable delays.
Spousal & Common-Law Sponsorship
If you want to sponsor your spouse or partner for permanent residence, we can help you understand your options and prepare a complete spousal sponsorship application. Mirzoyan Immigration Services supports clients with inland and overseas spousal sponsorship in Canada, including document preparation, eligibility review, and application strategy.
Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW)
For skilled workers with eligible foreign work experience. We calculate your six selection factor points, assess CRS eligibility, and optimize your Express Entry profile for a successful draw.

Frequently Asked questions
-
Permanent residence allows you to live and work in Canada indefinitely with most citizen rights. PR carries a residency obligation of 730 days in every five-year period. Citizenship is permanent and cannot be lost through absence from Canada. Citizens can vote, hold a Canadian passport, and run for office.
-
You need at least 1,095 days of physical presence in Canada during the five years before applying. Time as a temporary resident before PR can count as half-days, up to 365 days credit. IRCC processing then typically takes 12 to 24 months. The total path from PR landing to citizenship is usually four to five years.
-
Yes. Both Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor a spouse or common-law partner. PR sponsors must be physically residing in Canada when the application is filed. Citizens can sponsor while living abroad if they intend to return. Sponsorship undertakings last three years from the date PR is granted.
-
You receive a refusal letter listing the officer's reasons. Depending on the program, you may file a reconsideration, an appeal at the Immigration Appeal Division, or judicial review at the Federal Court. Each option has strict deadlines. We assess all available options during refusal consultations.
-
You can work only if you hold a valid work permit or implied status. The PR application itself does not authorize work. Many applicants extend a PGWP, LMIA-based permit, or bridging open work permit during processing. We advise on the right interim status for your situation.
-
The most frequent refusal grounds are misrepresentation, insufficient work experience evidence, and inadmissibility. Misrepresentation findings carry a five-year ban from Canada. Weak NOC reference letters and missing settlement funds proof are also common. Strong file preparation prevents these errors before submission.
