Immigration in Ajax: What You Need to Know
Ajax is part of Durham Region, about 40 kilometres east of downtown Toronto. The 2021 Census recorded a population of 126,666 for Ajax, with approximately 42% of residents born outside Canada, according to Statistics Canada's Focus on Geography Series for Ajax.

We calculate your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, identify realistic ways to raise it, and submit a complete profile. A nomination through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) adds 600 CRS points.
Super Visa. The Super Visa lets parents and grandparents stay in Canada for up to five years per entry. It is common among Ajax families who want extended visits from parents abroad. Applicants must show private medical insurance and meet a minimum income threshold (IRCC).
Study Permits and PGWPs. Students accepted to Durham College, Ontario Tech University, or another Designated Learning Institution need a study permit. Graduates of eligible programs can apply for a PGWP.
